Gluten Free Italian meal at restaurant in Virginia Beach, VA

Pasta e Pani is a fantastic Italian place. It's in a strip mall, but this is a nicer restaurant. Very knowledgeable chefs, gluten free pasta on request (cooked in separate water, they actually know things!), the risotto is gluten free and ridiculous. Gluten free Mexican food in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Gringo's Taqueria is a tiny hole in the wall that seats about 15 people, in a crappy strip mall next to a bike Best fish tacos on the east coast! They don't have a freezer, everything is fresh (awesome, but also means they occasionally run out of things). Almost everything other than battered fish tacos and anything with flour tortillas is fine. Just make sure to ask for corn tortillas, many of the tacos default to flour. Fantastic margaritas, they make their own mix, but they aren't cheap. Submitted by a member of the DC Celiacs Support Group http://www.dcceliacs.com

Gluten free pancakes in Virginia Beach, VA

My family and I love Pocahontas Pancake House. We try to eat there whenever we're in the area. They have the best gluten free pancakes with lot's of topping options. There is always a wait, it's a little crowded, and it's a little more expensive compared to an IHop or similar restaurant but it's worth it! :) My son loves the chocolate chip pancakes. They are on Atlantic Ave, and have their own parking lot. Submitted by a member of the DC Celiacs Support Group http://www.dcceliacs.com

Gluten Free in Chevy Chase, Maryland

I wanted to share my great experience last night. I went to dinner at Clyde's in Friendship Heights last night and they were wonderful. They have a strict allergen policy and the waiter told me I didn't even need to worry about special instructions when I started to ask about cooking on separate or cleaned surfaces. Their special this week is gluten-free and the bartender came over to tell me which of their drinks she could guarantee as gluten-free, which probably were but she couldn't guarantee 100%, and which I should avoid. The food was great, they clearly have their act together for taking care of people who have specific dietary restrictions, and the service was outstanding.

Authentic Spanish cuisine and gluten free choices at restaurant in San Diego

I was just in San Diego last month and had fabulous Spanish food at Cafe Sevilla. There were lots of gluten free choices, and my friend and I shared several gluten free tapas. I liked pretty much everything and had no reaction. The sangria was good too. :-)
