Great takeaway pizza company- a marginal charge for a gluten free base. Comprehensive and clear menu that is standard throughout New Zealand. Order at least once!

Through our two week trip, I never had a shortage of food that was gluten free! A roadside tea house towards Kaikoura had chocolate chip cookies, a farmer's market in Nelson had gluten free baked goods from "The Shortbread House," ate dinner at the Flying Haggis Pub in Picton, had a wonderful breakfast at Speight's Landing in Franz Josef, was able to pick up stove top macaroni and cheese in Queenstown, and all in all had an amazing time whilst eating anything I wanted! A woman told me that many Kiwis are gluten free, so it's a common diet. That is very much the case. Everyone understood it and no one mistreated my allergies!

If you're on a wine tour, stop here for a nice salad or soup. Expensive, but was able to enjoy two different soups for lunch! Staff is knowledgeable and happy to advise on ingredients.

First buffet I've been to since adopting my gluten free diet... must go if you visit Queenstown! Most items were gluten free, even more were made from scratch! Ask the chef at the carving table and he/she will be happy to walk you through! There were less than four items that I couldn't have (all were pasta dishes) and the ice cream and many of the desserts were gluten free as well!

It might be $4NZD extra for a gluten free bun, but it's WELL WORTH IT! Dedicated frier for french fries, and well-versed staff in terms of celiac disease! Make sure you get aoili sauce on everything!
