Outstanding Austrian/German Restaurant in Myrtle Beach with gluten free menu

We have been coming to the Myrtle Beach area for many years and Café Old Vienna has continuously been our favorite place to eat. Within the last few years, the chef has developed an extensive gluten-free menu. It includes many Austrian favorites such as Schnitzel (there are 5 different kinds) and sausages, as well as typical Austrian sides such as red cabbage and sauerkraut. I have tried numerous items on the menu and they have all been delicious. They even offer gluten-free Vienna crepes for dessert! The atmosphere is very cozy with candles on the tables and live music (guitar) on Saturday nights.

Outstanding Italian Restaurant in London with Gluten Free Menu

Cotto Italian Restaurant is a family-run restaurant that offers an extensive gluten-free menu. Their Gluten Free choices range from pizza to pasta. We ate there twice during our 10 day vacation in London. Our meal began with Gluten Free bread which was excellent - the owner states that they make it themselves. I then had the best-tasting Gluten Free lasagna as well as GF tirimasu! The owner has Celiac Disease and he and his staff seemed very aware of our dietary needs. We were so happy to discover this place and will certainly return if we ever get back to London!

Wonderful Cafe/Restaurant in Rothenburg

As we searched for a place to eat in Rothenburg, we came upon this small cafe on a side street near the center of the old town. The owner, Edith, warmly greeted us as we entered. I explained to her my need to eat gluten-free and she patiently reviewed the menu for me, pointing out the items that were safe for me to eat. Since she and her husband do all the cooking, she was very confident in the ingredients and food preparation. To my delight, I was able to have their Homemade Bratwurst. It was absolutely the best bratwurst I have ever had! One could tell that it was made with fresh, quality ingredients. Since I couldn't eat the spaetzle, they prepared a special potato dish for me. The restaurant offers a variety of other German specialties on the menu as well. This was certainly a wonderful dining experience for us.

Wonderful Restaurant in Florence

On a vacation to Italy in September, 2007, we spent a few days in Florence. The first night there, we noticed a lovely-looking restaurant and decided to try it. I was prepared with an Italian Gluten Free restaurant card but didn't really need it. They were very aware of the gluten-free diet and noted on the menu that they offered gluten-free pasta. What a surprise! Even without that, we would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone (whether eating gluten-free or not) who visits Florence. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with frescos on the wall. From the moment we sat down, we felt like the Ciro family had welcomed us into their home. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate there all 3 nights we were in Florence. Each time, I ordered a different GF pasta dish and each was perfectly prepared and presented. When we left after our third visit, we received hugs and warm wished from the Ciro family. We are looking forward to returning to Florence and eating at Ciro and Sons once again.
