Gluten free at restaurant in Mercersburg, PA

If you are skiing at Whitetail and need a nice place to eat, this is a hidden gem in Mercersburg. There are several Gluten Free options on the menu labeled GF and you may speak with the chef directly to discuss ensuring that there is no cross contamination. Flannery's has a pub in front and a more fancy dining room in the back. The pub is kid friendly if you go early enough and has more menu options than the dining room. They use all local beef and produce and the food is very nicely done which makes up for the fact that it is slightly pricey. Some of the gluten free choices include olives, corn tortillas with salsa, wings, homemade fries (really good), homemade kettle chips (good), fish, duck, ahi, scallops rumaki (excellent), steak, salads, and creme brulee (very tasty). The service was outstanding.

Arcola, Va Church offers gluten free communion

Arcola United Methodist Church serves gluten, soy, and dairy free communion wafers at both the 9:30 and 11am services. They understand communion as a means of grace, where we are reminded of God's forgiveness for us through Jesus Christ. During the school year, they celebrate communion at every 9:30am service, and on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at the 11am service. Because it is a grace and the Lord's Table (the One who knows no strangers), all are welcome at the Table. The pastor serves the gluten free wafers without handling them so as not to have any cross contamination.

Restaurant for gluten free hot dogs in Alexandria, VA

This is a cute place with lots of different types of hot dogs. They have gluten free buns and gluten free dogs. However, I was disappointed because despite the fact that they advertise all over the store to try their gluten free menu, the chef making the dogs and heating the buns didn't understand cross contamination and I had to tell the chef to put my gluten free dog/bun in a separate pan rather than on the burner with all the non-gluten free items.
So, if you go there, just make sure you watch what they do with your food.

Rome - Mamma Angela's

This is a small little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating near the Termini train station in Rome. It is near the Castro Pretorio Metro stop and is on Via Palestro near Via Vicenza. From Termini, take Via Vicenza and turn left on Via Palestro. They have several Gluten Free options on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant if you are staying near Termini. The food was good, the service was nice, but it wasn't anything special, so I wouldn't make a special trip just to go there - only if you are near Termini.

This is a really nice little restaurant/pizzeria in Florence in between the Train station and the Duomo on Via Del Giglio. They have outside seating and the inside is beautifully decorated. It is a pizzeria - Antica Pizzeria Dell'Arte, but also a full restaurant, Ciro & Sons. So you can go for pizza for lunch or a nice dinner at night. They have gluten free pasta and meats available. If you call ahead one day you can make a reservation for gluten free pizza and they will specially prepare the dough for you. One of the best restaurants that we ate at in Florence.
