Quick, Delicious and Gluten Free meal in Boulder, Colorado!

Okay I have 10 min to eat, and I am gluten free. As I looked around I frantically searched for a salad bar. I saw Noodles and Co. Thankfully. As I approached the counter I grunted and stated that I was gluten free and could she recommend a good salad. She happily exclaimed, "I can do more than that!" and handed me a gluten free menu. She let me know that any dish on the menu can be made with rice noodles. Throw on some protein, and back to work I went. It was quick, delicious, gluten free, and staff was courteous. Definitely a good spot for gluten free diners on the go!

Gluten Free Perfection at restaurant in Niwot, Colorado!

If you haven't experienced Colterra Food and Wine in Niwot you are missing out! Chef/ Owner Bradford Heap has truly created an exquisite gluten free culinary experience. I had the pleasure of meeting him on my anniversary last September, and learned that he too is gluten free! Colterra's Gluten Free menu is almost identical to their non-gluten free menu with only minor substitutions. I ordered the Black King Fish Provencal P.E.I. mussels, white beans, capers, olives, tomatoes, spinach, herbs de provence, and toasted shallot chardonnay broth which was 100% gluten and dairy free. They also offer gluten free bread. The atmosphere also complements the dining experience especially if you have the opportunity to dine here in the summer definitely sit out under the 100 yr old trees. You'll thank me for it. Great destination spot all around for gluten free diners.

Great Downtown Boulder Farm-to-Table Gluten Free restaurant!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting SALT The Bistro on downtown Pearl Street with my family during the holidays. I always fear going out to eat with my family that the place they will choose will not have gluten free options for me. When we arrived we sat down at a lovely booth by the wood fire oven, and I glanced the menu. The first thing I saw were those life saving words, "Upon request every item on our menu can be prepared gluten free." I couldn't decide between the Oak Fired Never-Ever Flatiron Steak with local squash & wild mushroom risotto, garlic seared local greens, and aged balsamic, or the Local Organic Vegetable Tasting with polenta (which they made Gluten Free) with local chard, local black quinoa fritter, garam masala spiced chickpea & cauliflower, dill roasted carrots, garlic seared chard, soup sip, and fried potato with local vegetable slaw. I am always cautious that the dish really is prepared gluten free, and so the chef came over and talked me about the preparation and gave me even more options. Great customer service and attention. I highly recommend this place as a life-savin' gluten free option for people who want to dine out stress free in a comfortable, warm atmosphere. I felt like I could order anything off the menu, and the staff was courteous and sensitive to my needs making me feel right at home!
