My new favourite gluten-free place in London!

Ever since I was diagnosed a coeliac, I like many others have found it a struggle finding food that is gluten free but doesn't taste like it is, ie tastes normal! I heard about the WAGfree bakery through a group on facebook and decided to head there after seeing the photos of all the amazing food they do. After a nightmare journey, I was worried they wouldn't live up to my high expectations- I needn't have worried! Their food didn't taste the same as non gluten free food, it was a hundred times better! They have a wide selection of cakes, their bakewell tarts and jammy dodgers are to die for, and the treacle tarts are the best I have ever tasted. I didn't try and of the savouries, but they do pies and quiches which my mum said were beautiful (and believe me, that is a huge accolade as my mum has, in 5 years of being a coeliac, very rarely come across any gf savouries she has liked!). I honestly can't rate this place high enough. Their pastry is divine- you'd NEVER think it was gluten free, the staff are lovely and very helpful, and I would quite happily go back every weekend if I could. If you are in or near London, make the effort to go to Brixton, it'll be worth it, believe me!
