An extraordinary restaurant in all respects--the superior quality and selection of the healthiest and freshest farm to table foods, exquisitely and delicately prepared dishes and presentation. The ambiance, and their sensitivity, attention and care to meet special dietary needs including celiac are all deeply valued and appreciated. Cafe Routier is a rare find and jewel not to be missed! Can't wait to go back!

Elegant Gluten Free Dining at restaurant in Chappaqua, New York

Dining is any restaurant requires us to think about what is it we are eating, where does it come from and is it gluten free and safe. The Crabtree Kittle House satisfies all these questions and critical needs while achieving the thrill of dining out like everyone else. It is extraordinary in every respect: the quality of the foods from farm to table, the presentation and creativity of the chef providing a vast selection of nature's finest cuisine and wines along with the ambiance, service, attention, understanding and knowledge of gluten free dining. Although they do not have gluten free breads or a gluten free menu, the owner, John Crabtree, recently shared that 85% of their menu is gluten free. Some of our favorites are the chicken and halibut. When making a reservation it is important to advise the person taking the reservation and also confirm with the waiter or waitress upon arrival. As always, vigilance is important where ever we go.

Outstanding Restaurant in Greenport, NY with gluten free food

This was a superb dining experience from every aspect--the care, attention, quality of food, preparation, creativity, and delectable, savory cuisine. The ambiance was extraordinary. Prior to our arrival I spoke with Chef Noah who is quite knowledgeable about gluten free, and he assured me that he understood the situation and would accommodate my needs, and need not worry. All I had to do was to speak with the restaurant staff upon making my reservation and letting them know. Well, this was an incredible experience from the start as the woman who handled my reservation was also knowledgeable, understanding, accommodating and assuring. She inquired about what I would like to eat. The Wild Salmon Nicoise was listed on the menu, and I asked if it could be done with Tuna. Since it was not on the menu as an entree, the chef ordered it special so that I could have what I wanted. When I arrived the whole staff was alerted and accommodated every need. This restaurant is absolutely fabulous!

This restaurant is fantastic in every way--the ambiance, quality of food, the savory tastes, presentation, vast array of selections that can safely be prepared gluten free by GIG trained chef and staff. The attitude, understanding, and attentiveness of Enzo, the owner and staff are also extraordinary. Knowing how they go the extra mile to cater to every need and do it in a safe manner provides a lovely all around fine dining experience. The gluten free bread, crackers, dessert cookies, etc. were a delightful surprise!
