UNO Chicago Grill chain was listed in several Celiac books I had purchased last year when diagnosed. Got to go to the closest one about 30 miles away for the first time in June this summer. Can't describe the excitement at being able to order PIZZA along with everyone else. This was only exceeded by my excitement the very next month when I found out they added gluten free BEER to the menu!! In addition to these 2 items, which make me feel like part of the gang again, the rest of the gluten free menu was quite varied. They also were able to change up the flour tortilla chips in the nachos to corn ones for me when I asked.

I had found PF Chang's to be listed in several Celiac books I've bought recently, and was very anxious to try it. I've always loved Chinese food and was devastated by the fact that I had to watch my soy sauce intake. Upon my request at the hostess station, I was given their separate G-F menu that had everything from the regular menu pulled out to make it extremely easy to order worry free. My waiter also told me to ask if there was something from the regular menu that caught my eye, and perhaps the chef could alter it to make G-F

Their G-F menu is available at their website, but as I happily found out, they will also tailor other menu choices to become G-F. The fajitas are listed as flour tortillas, but upon my request, they switched them to corn tortillas for me. My waitresses both times I was there in October 2009 told me I just had to ask to switch to corn if there was anything listed as flour tortillas that I wanted to try.
