About Chima Brazilian Steakhouse's Gluten Free Menu
Chima Brazilian Steakhouse is named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship. It is a unique dining experience – and one particularly well-suited for gluten free diners. Chima combines traditional Brazilian rodizio and excellent service in an elegant setting. With four locations in the U.S. and one in Brazil, Chima is the perfect place for a family dinner, business dinner, or special occasion.
For a fixed price, guests enjoy the many slow-cooked meats that are cooked over a wood burning flame. The meats and seafood are brought to the table on skewers by “Gauchos” (meat chefs) who carefully carve the meat onto your plate. Guests can signal when they are ready for a new selection of meats to be brought to the table by placing a special token next to their plate.
Gluten free diners will find that the majority of meats and seafood are gluten free, and a printed gluten free listing, available upon arrival at the restaurant, specifies which meats – and which items from the vast salad bar – are safe to eat.
The salad bar is a beautiful display of fresh Brazilian and American favorites to accompany the meat and seafood selections. Choices include gourmet salads, imported prosciutto, smoked salmon, beef carpaccio, cheeses, side dishes, soup, and traditional Brazilian hot dishes. Guests can choose Salad Bar only (which includes grilled fish) if they prefer a lighter meal to a meal of grilled meats.
Chima also offers Brazilian specialty cocktails and a large selection of wines and champagnes from around the world. The dessert menu is separate and not to be missed.
Register online with Chima and receive a $20 coupon to use with the purchase of two rodizios from Sunday-Thursday.
