New Orleans Marriott 5 Fifty 5 provides wonderful gluten free dining experience, May 01, 2013
reviewer: MsLouann from ,
During a recent trip to New Orleans, we stayed at the Marriott on Canal Street. The executive sous chef and the staff at the 5 Fifty 5 restaurant went above and beyond to ensure that my husband had delicious meals that took his food allergies and sensitivities into account. Nightly, Jason Walter, chef, would come from the kitchen to confirm our order and make suggestions for different dishes. Brian Bigard, our server, even had the bakery make a gluten free bread for my husband. Jessica Plowick, the manager employs an excellent and caring staff. We will stay at the Canal Street Marriott on our return visit.

Marriott on Canal Street in New Orleans good for gluten-free, Sep 07, 2010
reviewer: DC_Celiacs from DC/MD/VA,
I stayed at the Marriott on Canal Street. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night. Although the wait staff was not knowledgeable, they knew enough to speak with the Chef and get suggestions for me. The Chef actually came out to my table and told me that he could pretty much make anything on the menu I wanted gluten-free. I had the red fish and it was awesome! Marriott New Orleans Canal Street, Jul 15, 2009
reviewer: Tgrahek from ,
Fantastic service!! We let them know ahead of time that we were coming with our 2 gf/df daughters. When we go there, they let us know that they were prepared to cook gluten free for us in the restaurant or room service. They even went to the trouble of cooking french fries in a new pot of oil! The chef had also made a trip to Whole Foods to get pasta and other goodies. They made the girls pancakes and even brought out Glutino Breakfast Bars to hold them over until the meals were ready.
