Average Seafood -- But you want to love it...., May 21, 2014
reviewer: Phylliskboston from Boston, MA USA
I have lived in the greater Boston area for more than 10 years and have been celiac for close to 30.

In the 10 years I've lived here, I've been to multiple Legal Sefoods restaurants multiple times.

The very best I can say is they are VERY hit or miss. I'm not even talking about their gluten free options. I'm talking about basic seafood. More than once I've had my fish over cooked, vegetables under cooked and bad service.

I stopped going after multiple times of bad service Then they launched their gluten free menu so I tried again. I really want to love this place, but I can't. It's New England. They are a seafood restaurant. They should know how to cook a basic fish dish.

I'm not saying don't go -- their new and improved gluten free menu is very tempting. I'm just saying go with your expectations set right. Could be awesome, could be a total bust.

Restaurant in Boston with gluten free menu was perfect!, May 23, 2013
reviewer: Kelley from Providence, RI
We loved our experience here! The Gluten-Free menu is awesome. I had the soup sampler, the spinach ravioli, and the carrot-raisin salad on the side. My husband and kids did not order from the gluten-free menu, but they loved everything, too! The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly, and it was so comfortable and clean. Everything was really perfect. I think they're a fairly new restaurant, but you wouldn't know it...they really have it down to a science. We will definitely go back here whenever we're in Boston.
