Gluten-Free Restaurant in Lincoln, Nebraska, Apr 21, 2012
reviewer: GREATKitchens from National Foundation for Celiac Awareness,
At GlutenFreeTravelSite, a restaurant or other business must typically be “reviewed” to appear on our site. We have thousands of gluten-free reviewers that have submitted feedback to our site — and have therefore helped guide thousands of others in the gluten-free community who rely on our site for honest, personal, and detailed dining and travel guidance. We have made an exception, however, for restaurants that have been trained through the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness’s GREAT Kitchens Program. We list restaurants like this one — even without a personal review — because they have been rigorously trained and vetted using NFCA’s strict protocols. GREAT Kitchens provides a “Train the Trainer” course for chefs and food service managers which gives them the knowledge and tools to educate their entire kitchen staff on safe gluten-free food handling and preparation. Visit NFCA’s website to learn more:http://www.celiaccentral.org/great-gluten-free-foodservice-training/
If you have dined at this restaurant and would like to submit a personal review of your own, we welcome your comments! Simply go to Submit Review ( http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/submit.php ) and follow the prompts from there.

Sporty's, May 20, 2010
reviewer: JillMiller from ,
If you are craving a great burger (with/out cheese and fixings), salad, cottage cheese AND a hard cider or cocktail check out Sportscasters! The buns are amazing! Dave Moreland\'s wife Beckee is a celiac and has worked with Dave and his team to provide a gluten-free menu and a gluten-free experience! The kitchen is well trained and the wait staff very friendly. If you miss that burger or other "bar food," ask for the gluten-free menu at Sporty\'s (aka Sportscasters). Thank you Dave and Beckee!
