Bold of me to even consider House of Blue's, knowing that the Cajun/Creole menu is one flour laden creation after another. Regardless, the server consulted with the chef to determine what would be safe for me to eat. Only the Strawberry-Blue Cheese Spinach Salad with Grilled Shrimp fit the bill. Accompanied by a side of Mashed Sweet Potatoes, it was a delicious and satisfying lunch experience. Even though they had very limited options, the server paid exceptional attention to my needs, allowing me to enjoy dining out without concern for contamination. I was craving their Sweet Potato Fries but, alas, they don't have a designated fryer.

Wolfgang Pucks's Restaurant in MGM Grand Hotel in Vegas May 14, 2008

The server was knowledgeable about GF ingredients and quickly guided me toward several menu options that could be prepared gluten free. I settled on a delicious Roasted Salmon, served on a bed of pureed spring peas. The Wolfgand Puck web site indicates that their restaurants are sensitive and accommodating to food allergies and I found this to be absolutely true. A pleasant and comfortable lunch experience, minus the anxiety that sometimes accompanies dining out.
