Eating Gluten Free in Dunedin, FLorida Nov 22, 2010
reviewer: Ronda from Olean, NY USA

While visiting the West Coast of FLorida, a friend who knows I am gluten free suggested we visit the Serendipity Cafe in Dunedin for breakfast. I believe it just opened this past Spring. I love Dunedin and always visit there several times for art, shopping etc. Well what a delightful experience. I had as a starter, one of their smoothies, then french toast, bacon and real maple syrup, friend had pancakes. They have a large selection of GF food including pizzas, pasta, soups, chili, sandwiches and wraps and all the things we love and can't have at other restaurants. The atmosphere is friendly and what a happy group of customers. One young lady was actually squealing with happiness as she came in the door to realize she could safely eat anything on the menu. I took home some of their freshly baked pumpkin/carrot muffins. Delicious and they also bake bread. You order it before 10 a.m. on Sat. and pick it up on Sunday. I am sorry that my visit to Serendipity was on the last day of my vacation. Next time, I will be a frequent customer.
