Gluten free restaurant menu in Grand Rapids, Michigan Aug 01, 2013

I loved PF Chang's even before I found out I had celiac disease. When we traveled to California it was always on my list of places to eat. Since we travel south of Indianapolis at least twice a year, we planned our lunch hour so we could stop in Indy at PF Chang's.
When I found out I had celiac disease, I was so glad that PF Chang's was still on my list. When they finally opened up a restaurant in Grand Rapids, we made plans to visit within the first few weeks. The drive is about 90 minutes away but worth it. It's a debate on who enjoys it more, myself or my daughter-in-law.
This year for my birthday, my son drove and ordered carry-out to surprise me when I came home from work.
One of the things that is great about PF Chang's is that the whole table can order Gluten-Free and they wouldn't know the difference, which makes sharing even better. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they make sure that your order is specially prepared. Their gluten-free menu is included in their regular menu, you don't have to ask for it.
Everything on their menu is delicious, so I am sure you could find something to enjoy. My favorite is Spicy chicken, but I also love the lettuce wraps.
If you have the chance to visit a PF Chang's, do so, you won't be disappointed

Scotty's Brew House has an extensive menu which even includes 2 pages for gluten free items. The atmosphere is a sports bar, but it is family oriented. It is a place that not only will please the gluten-free member of your party, but anyone joining you will also enjoy.
The items on their gluten-free menu aren't your typical items. They have "starters", salads, meals and even desserts. Meals are prepared on gluten-free buns, without an extra charge.
Upon telling the waitstaff that your order is gluten-free, they ask if it is due to allergies so they can make sure everything is handled correctly.
My favorite is the spinach chicken burger, which has their spinach dip on it (which is also gluten-free). My husband had the macho nachos and had to bring 1/2 home.
They offer more than just one side to go with your meal. You can eat there 7 days of the week and eat something different every day.
Don't forget to sign up for their VIP club, as you can earn points for discounts, etc.
I would not hesitate to recommend Scotty's to anyone (gluten-free or not).
