A nice surprise for gluten-free dining at a restaurant in Quebec Nov 08, 2010
reviewer: Chris from Laval, Quebe, Canada

I was surprised to discover that in smaller towns of the province of Quebec I could easily find gluten-free meals. It was great to have real good food without worrying about every bite. The waitresses sure know what you are talking about when you say I need a gluten-free meal . With my soup there were special crackers and then great bread. The fish, the vegetables were so tasty. What a nice feeling to be able to just sit down, eat and relax. When driving down to ''La Gaspésie'' make it a must to stop in Rivière-du-Loup at the Saint-Patrice

WOW -- amazing restaurant in New York City with plenty of gluten-free options! Nov 08, 2010
reviewer: Chris from Laval, Quebec, Canada

Browsing around New York City...Saturday evening we want something special for the last night of our vacation...Three couples and one of us with a special gluten-free diet...Wow! No special written menu but the chef sure knows what a gluten-free diet is and so do the manager and everyone working there. The food: divine. The staff: great attention from everyone. The atmosphere: sooooo special...Sophistication and yet you feel so comfy and taken care of. It's a must for the palate and the soul. The shrimp risotto, the salmon on a bed of spinach and the fruit plate...out of this world. My friends say the bread and the little cake sticks dipped in chocolate were a wonderful treat. Paradise in a meal . And I must mention their see-through wine-cellar (upstairs) has a choice of 12,000 bottles!

Great atmosphere! Great food for everyone and what a delightful spot to eat gluten-free!The menu is so inviting I wanted to taste everything.I finally settled for a freshly made hummus dip with fresh vegetables and a huge mediterranean pizza. My doggie bag box was brought to me at the table for me to put my own leftovers in so as to make sure there is no cross-contamination from the kitchen. Before I was served a lady came from the kitchen to explain all the care they take for my special food and she again came back when I was eating to see if everything was right the way I wanted. What a pleasure to know what great attention they give to the gluten-free orders! This is a great place we all want to go back to because of the wonderful food for everyone! WOW!
