Update on Pompano Beach Club Apr 18, 2014
reviewer: TennesseeJayhawk from Crossville, Tennessee

We just returned from a repeat trip to Pompano Beach club in Bermuda. Since our last visit the resort has made a major change in its menu with dietary restrictions, with emphasis on gluten intolerance. Now all menu items are clearly marked as to whether they are or can be altered to make them gluten-free. Each menu category has gluten free options, from appetizers to dessert. I ate gluten free muffins, pancakes and toast for breakfast, and lovely gluten free dinner rolls with my dinner. I even had their gluten free pizza. The management tells me that they have had a tremendous increase in guests with dietary restrictions with gluten intolerance being the one in the most demand. Although they had always been willing to work with my gluten free needs in past visits, I am thrilled to find a more thorough and organized approach...I hope I had some small part in the changes. I am told that they intend to continue reviewing these changes to keep up with the widening of gluten free options, especially with the breakfast and lunch menus. I would highly recommend Pompano Beach club to anyone with dietary restrictions, especially gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease.

Gluten free at Bermuda resort's restaurants Mar 30, 2013

This is my first choice when staying in Bermuda. We stay at the resort and buy the meal package. On arrival I was met by Exec. Chef Paul to go over my menu options. He is always willing to alter almost any choice, and has stocked pasta, bread, flour mixes and desserts for maximum flexibility. I was able to have bread and pasta with dinner, and enjoyed waffles, pancakes and toast for my breakfast...just like my non-GF husband. The whole staff, both kitchen and dining room, is well vetted on the guests' special needs, and I always feel pampered. I would highly recommend staying at this small family run resort, where your every need is met, safely and deliciously.
