Excellent Restaurant That Has Gluten Free Menu in Staunton, Virginia! Apr 29, 2014
reviewer: Deb350 from Middleboro, MA, USA

Excellent, extensive Gluten Free menu with the best ribs I have had in a long time. They do not give you free refills, but we received free mint ice cream at the end of the meal. Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the area.

Excellent Bed &Breakfast with gluten free offerings in Waynesboro, Virginia Apr 29, 2014
reviewer: Deb350 from Middleboro, MA, USA

Belle Hearth Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful old home near Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. Laura and Wayne are exceptional hosts who cater to Gluten Free, Vegan and all other food concerns with amazing results. I had a crustless quiche with wonderful vegetables that was excellent. There is always some kind of fruit with the meal and if you like gluten free bread, they have it. Our room, The Orchid Room, was a king size bedroom with a fireplace and claw tub/shower. Laura is like a book of knowledge when it comes to seeing sights and will tell you where the good places to go are. There is a a really good restaurant a couple of streets away, The Green Leaf, that offers Gluten Free food also.

Dining gluten free at the Hilton Hotel near JFK Airport in New York Mar 05, 2014
reviewer: Deb350 from Middleboro, MA

JFK Hilton Airport Hotel does not boast that they have a Gluten Free menu, but if you tell them that you have to eat Gluten Free you then pick out what you want and they will let you know what you can have. I had a hamburger with cheese (waiter told me he read the package to make sure I could have the type they had-I was sold on the restaurant after that) and homemade mashed potatoes. They were delicious. The price was very reasonable and after a long day of traveling this was just perfect. I felt very safe in eating here and the room was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant. Staff was amazing.

Absolutely Wonderful Cruise To The Caribbean, Dining Gluten Free Mar 05, 2014
reviewer: Deb350 from Middleboro, MA

We recently went on the Jewel of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and had an amazing time. You have to let them know that you are gluten free when you are booking your vacation so that they can plan ahead. I could not have asked for anything better and felt extremely safe the whole time I was on the ship. You have to ask the chef for something to eat during lunch if you go to the Windjammer but they always made me something so wonderful. One night at dinner they made me Mexican Food (no one else had it) because I requested it. Every night was a different type of bread. The cranberry bread was to die for. I did not have a bad meal the whole time and the cruise was just great! You have to advocate for yourself and be sure you eat what they tell you and you will have a wonderful trip with no problems.

Amazing Gluten Free Cruise to the Caribbean on Allure of the Seas Apr 14, 2013
reviewer: Deb350 from Middleboro, MA

This was our 15th cruise and after being diagnosed with Celiac, and having very bad Gluten Free experience with Carnival, I decided to give Royal Caribbean a try. I am very glad that I did. Allure of the Seas is the most beautiful ship I have ever been on. From the moment I got on the ship I knew I was going to be happy. I ate at the buffet with the help of the head chef every day and experienced no problems. Dinner was also amazing because if I didn't pick my meal the night before, there was something on the menu that was labelled Gluten Free every night. There were 3 different types of bread every night. I was so happy because the bread was almost as good as regular bread. Everyone in the dining room was concerned about whether I enjoyed my meal and how I was feeling. You can eat in the hot dog restaurant (GF buns) and the sandwich restaurant on Central Park had Gluten Free food also. I am hooked on Royal Caribbean! I have now booked a cruise for February, 2014 on the Vision of the Seas. The scale to rate is 1-5 palms and believe you me I would vote 10 palms if I could!
