We had a great dinner at this small restaurant along Ocean in Santa Monica. Most everything on the menu is gluten free, with the exception of the beef brisket tacos, because the beef brisket is marinated in beer, and the "fried fish" platter (fish is dusted with flour, although you could probably ask if they could grill it without the flour dusting. And the chips and hard taco shells are not safe for people with Celiac, because they are not fried in a dedicated fryer. But they have soft corn tortillas, so pretty much the rest of the menu is fair game.
This is a nice, authentic Mexican restaurant. They have tacos, as well as platters, which you can essentially make tacos out of. We ordered the Carne Asada platter, Chicken Tacos, Lobster Tacos, and Pork Carnitatas tacos. Everything was amazing. You can choose 2 sides with each dinner (rice, beans, or slaw). Their drinks are also amazing -- all natural fruit concoctions, available alcoholic or non-alcoholic. No bottled mixes here -- everything is fresh and natural.
I highly recommend a stop for lunch or dinner for anyone visiting Santa Monica.
