Americana has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I went here for the first time for brunch with my parents while they were visiting and I got the sundried tomato and basil omelette which came with a piece of Udi's gluten free toast. I asked the waiter about the separation during the toasting process and he let me know that everything is completely separate. Apparently the owner's wife has Celiac Disease, meaning the kitchen is well versed in the ways of gluten free!
I came back for dinner twice within a two week span and ordered the duck confit nachos both times. It might be a weird sounding dish but trust me...it's delicious and gluten free!
The service is consistently stellar and while the restaurant is in the young part of town, Americana is a spot where you'll see all types and ages. All in all, it's a perfect spot to take a break and feel completely taken care and well fed.
