Before I discovered I couldn't eat gluten, P. F. Chang's was one of my favorite restaurants because of the asian-fusion flavors and the consistency in the quality and taste of their dishes. I cannot describe my joy when I dropped in one day and found a page in their regular menu with gluten-free selections ~ and this number continues to increase. Since I have eaten this food prepared with and without gluten, I can tell you there is really no difference in looks or taste between the two. Thank goodness, the restaurant is wise enough to use different dinnerware for the gluten free dishes so there will not be a mistake in serving. P.F. Chang's also makes certain the sauces are also GF. One of the really special things about this menu is its completeness, including desserts. One of my favorite selections is Better Lemon Chicken, but lately I've been having the Spicy Fried Chicken (like General Tso's). It's a real treat!
My suggestion to them is to also make their hot and sour soup gluten free. I only wish there was a P.F. Chang's restaurant closer to Bellingham than 90 miles! I would probably eat there at least once a week.
