George Washington University has been trained through the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness's GREAT Schools, Colleges, and Camps program. They have been rigorously trained via NFCA's comprehensive online training course that teaches dining services managers and staff the essentials of preparing and serving gluten free meals. The multimedia, interactive course includes 5 training modules and additional resources to ensure continued dedication to serving safe gluten-free meals. Training modules include an overview of Celiac and gluten sensitivity, gluten free ingredients and label reading, front of house training for staff, back of house training for staff, and guidelines for implementation of a strong gluten free program and menu planning.
