This neighborhood Indian restaurant is our go-to restaurant for a quick, inexpensive, lunch.
The majority of their menu is naturally gluten free and they have an extensive vegan menu. Unfortunately, their fryers are not dedicated to being GF, instead they dedicate a fryer to being vegan. However, if you want fried food, they willingly heat up oil in a wok and fry it for you. My son is addicted to their palak pakora, so much so, that when they see us walk in the door, they start making up a dedicated gluten free batch for him.
My daughter raves about the sambar and idli (soup with fermented rice cakes) and when my children want something breadie to eat with their meals, the servers are always happy to bring them some idli (which the kids pronounce delicious).
Sometimes they only have one dish on their lunch buffet that meets our dietary needs (gfcfsf and vegan). This has never posed a problem as they make up a few dishes for our table and still charge us the very inexpensive, buffet rate.
