Our family has been visiting this restaurant for years now,
pretty much ever since our son was diagnosed with Celiac.
We'd gone there even before his diagnosis and were thrilled
when we learned that they had a fair amount of gluten-free
items on their menu. When you arrive, ask for the list of
gluten-free items. It's not a menu, per se, but rather an
updated list they keep on hand. As luck would have it, the
manager at this location, Rob, has Celiac Disease himself. So
I'd recommend talking to him directly if you dine there. He can
recommend things that aren't even on the menu and is happy
to take special requests using the ingredients that are gluten-
The beef burgers and turkey burgers are gluten-free (obviously
without the bun), as is the carnitas meat used for their fajitas.
I believe you can order the carnitas (or grilled chicken) fajitas
with CORN tortillas. Burgers can be ordered plain or wrapped in lettuce "wrap" style. Several salads are safe, as is the grilled salmon. And best of all, their tasty "bottomless" steak fries are gluten-free, too (although check at your particular location to make sure the fries are not fried in a common fryer with items containing gluten. Another nice thing about their kids menu is that you can get carrots, melon and other healthier items as a side, instead of just fries. All in all, this is a really fun family burger joint that's a great (and safe!) place to take the kids -- or even to visit without the kids when you're craving good burgers and fries!
