We had been to the Ford's Fish Shack in South Riding before, but never this Ashburn location. The menu is the same at both restaurants -- a range of good seafood. Our son with Celiac likes to order the King crab legs or Snow Crab legs, which are, of course, gluten free. There are plenty of other seafood -- and meat -- entrees on the menu that are gluten free, too. Just talk to a manager or your server. The fries are NOT fried in a dedicated fryer and are therefore not gluten free, but our son was happy ordering the grilled corn on the cob and broccolini as sides with his huge crab claws. Other notable choices at our table included steak and lobster tail. Take a look at their menu online ( http://www.fordsfishshack.com/pdf/FordsDinnerMenu.pdf ) and call ahead to find out if what you'd like can be done gluten free. This place is always pretty crowded (a good sign) so it helps to have a reservation. I just wish they'd mark the items on the menu that are gluten free -- it would save them from getting a lot of questions, I'm sure.
