The Pie Pizzeria in Salt Lake City has recently started providing vegan and gluten free options in their restaurant. They prepare every gluten free pizza in a separate pizza making area, away from gluten containing ingredients. Every pizza is made from scratch, so the chance of gluten exposure is very low. Along with having a separate preparation area, they also use color coded knives, cutters, and tools, and their cooks change aprons and gloves before entering their gluten free area. They mark their gluten free options on the menu with a grain symbol, and these items may cost extra.
