La Trattoria is a well knowned italian restaurant in Lisbon. I first knew it had gluten-free meals when invited by the Portuguese Coeliacs Association to have dinner there.
We were welcomed by Chef Bruno Silva who prepared delicious Salmon and Cream Cheese Raviolis with fresh pasta and a gluten free brownie for us. The appetizers were breadsticks, toast and mini baguettes from Schar.
Gluten-free meals are available when you make a reservation in advance. They usually have gf pasta there but if you want fresh pasta call 1 or 2 days ahead.
You can discuss the menu with Chef Bruno who advised us to come in early to guarantee there is no chance of cross contamination in the kitchen.
The meal was great and Chef Bruno checked on us a couple times to ensure everything was according to our needs.
