Well I had a meeting there and the rest of the diners were without any Food Allergy. Since I could not eat anything on the menu for this pre - set menu for the meeting I was approached by the Management. They did a menu for me - which was similar to the Gluten Full menu. Had kebabs, lamb and vegetarian with cheesy dip - they were crunchy and delish. Main course flavoured rice with herbed chicken and some salad..fresh and succulent chicken and to end it all A Divine Chocolate Mousse. The Best I have ever had.
While in India especially South India Please stick to Rice related food. Idly's , Dosa's with chutney, rice meals , appams, hoppers, string hoppers, most of the cooked curries are generally gluten free. Be wary of the Desserts though stick to bengali sweets. Check with the Chef or waiter in India. Food ingredients are taken very lightly in India it is better to be Safe than Sorry. You might have to be patient to explain it to them. I have got good treatment and bad stares so it depends from place to place and restaurant to restaurant. The North Indian cuisine is highly gluten full.
