I'm a brasilian medical doctor and have a celiac daughter of 12 years old (celiac since 2002). Here in Brazil, all great beach resorts have TAPIOCA for breakfast (a kind of manioc roll, stuffed by werever you want, and it may be salty or sweet). Delicious. We have pão de queijo everywere too (a bread made of tapioca and cheese). For the main meals, almost everywhere you go, you can order a grilled meat (beef, chicken or fish), vegetables, white rice and beans. And finally, In Brazil, all the industrialized goods are labeled "contains gluten" or "does not contain gluten."
