I had a positive experience at Chili's - eating from the gluten free menu. I pulled the monthly gluten free menu (off of this website - thank you) and took it with me to the restaraunt. I asked for a gluten free menu, and was told "we have one but our Internet is down so I can't print one off for you." I used the one I had printed. I explained my wheat "allergy" to the waitress and stressed the importance of not putting the bun on my hamburger. My food was brought out last - and not with the rest of the food, which I appreciated. My hamburger was on its own tiny little plate - WITH NO BUN - and my loaded mashed taters on another little plate. Best of all - no celiac flare up!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!! That just happens so rarely!!!!!!!
