My favorite restaurant to dine in as a person with Celiac Disease
is the Refectory Restaurant. The servers and staff make it
completely painless. Most of the menu items are gluten free or
can be prepared without gluten. The servers know which items
are safe and are happy to verify that information with the chef
in order to avoid accidental cross contamination. The food is
remarkable and there are lots of items. So, unless the item is
clearly one with gluten such as with bread or pasta you should
be able to request that it be prepared GF. They will even
provide GF bread if they have a day or a few hours notice.
Fresh fruit and home made ice cream are always available for
dessert if there are no GF desserts on that particular evening.
It is a treat to dine there!
