We went there before our play last night. I made the reservation with open table and in the notes area indicated I have Celiac and need to be gluten free. Upon arriving, I informed the manager I was gluten free. He said tell the waiter. I did. We discussed the menu extensively We decided that the beef cheeks consisting of beef, mushrooms and and risotto would be safe. The meal took a long time to arrive and I thought I should have gone for the gluten free pasta. It couldn't have taken any longer. My meal arrived in a bowl with gravy. I should have known better but wasn't thinking and tasted it. Decided to recheck. The waiter came back apologetic. The cheeks had been dredged in flour. The staff should be better educated and take the matter of celiac seriously. They asked what I wanted to do and they comped both our meals. I won't go back there if I have a choice.
