New crepe restaurant can provide gluten free options,

My husband and I recently visited a new crepe shop in Asheville called the Twisted Crepe. Although the crepes aren't gluten-free (yet), the meat and cheeses are Boars Head brand and are gluten free. The owner (Dustin) and members of the staff were aware of Celiac Disease and understood the importance of not cross contaminating gluten and gluten free items. Dustin prepared me a modified Jill's Jewel (a crepe named for his mom) with the meats, cheese, and wonderful sauce on a plate instead of a crepe. It was great!!! His understanding of gluten free and flexibility to make me a meal that I could eat was very welcoming. As business grows, there could be gluten-free crepes added to the menu..and my husband and I plan to visit next year and see if that's the case...but if its not, I can still have a great meal. If you visit the Twisted Crepe, tell Dustin that Jenny sent you.
