The restaurant clears the line before preparing gluten-free
meals. They also double check all ingredients at the same time
to insure that the food is gluten-free and will make
adjustments. The gluten-free menu is short but varied. Each
dish is delicious!
The waiter we had the last two times name is Cody. He actually
made us feel special going out of his way to ensure that are
meal was enjoyable and gluten-free / dairy-free. The head chef
actually brought our food out to us to make sure that it stayed
gluten-free from his kitchen to our table. My understanding is
that he is very concerned about cross-contamination.

Bazil's is located at the end of Irondiquoit Bay with a scenic walk
to the left where swans sometimes gather. There is an outdoor
patio over-looking this walk. The interior is intimate old world
Italian decor with a touch of ancient Roman splendor.
I am rating this 4.5 palms because I am only gluten-intolerant
so do not have immediate physical repercussions from cross-
contamination. But it is a place I would take a celiac friend to in
order for her to check out.
