A trip to NYC is incomplete without a Gluten Free meal at Gus’s Place, one of the original Gfrap restaurants, in the West Village. We’ve had many meals and parties at Gus’s Place, which offers a wide variety of authentic Gluten Free Greek food. The GF community owes Gus Theodoro many thanks for providing great GF food at reasonable prices.
Our favorites range from the Mezedes or small plates of grilled octopus and lamb sausages to Greek spreads served with GF bread. All of the salads are GF, the beet salad with feta cheese and pine nuts is really tangy with the citrus chive vinaigrette and our GF daughter favors a traditional Greek Salad. For the main course, the Clay Potted chicken with polenta, figs and apricots, and the kebabs, chicken and lamb are tender and well spiced. When we dine as a family, we order assorted dishes for the table to share. At the end the meal if there is room, we don’t miss the GF desserts
