Chef Johnson and the entire staff at Mountain View Grand were very thoughful and careful about my food options when I informed them that I had celiac disease. My husband and I were at the resort for the wedding. I called about a week in advance to inform the wedding coordinator that I had dietary constraints. I was immediately given the email address of the chef to discuss my needs directly. The chef responded to my email and cc'd his sous chefs as well so that everyone in the kitchen knew about my needs. For the wedding meal, the server knew exactly who I was and even wore gloves when bringing my meal to me to avoid cross-contamination. The chef came to the table and told me that he cooked my meal himself. To get this much attention in the middle of a 2-wedding weekend for the resort was amazing. My meal was delicious and completely gluten free. Thanks to Chef Johnson and his team for making a wonderful meal experience....two nights in a row. Also, the hotel was also able to provide a refrigerator in my room so that I could bring food with me.
