We had a wonderful family meal at Asmara Restaurant in Cambridge. This is an eritrean, ethiopian Restaurant. You can have your meal on their traditional tables as a shared meal eating with fingers with their bread called Injera. When you call ahead 1 hour or so, they will prepare a teff only Injera for you. The owner and chef seemed knowledgable about celiac disease and assured us that they use no flour at all in ethiopian cooking, except for the bread, which they make upon request 100% teff flour. It was great fun for my kids to eat there, and they definitely want to come back. The atmosphere was wonderful welcoming and accommodating of any needs we had. I felt safe that there would be no cross contamination.
