Tulane's gluten-free dining facilities are A+. A separate fridge is stocked continuously throughout the day with homemade gluten-free dishes which are delicious. Inside the fridge there are three sections sensitive to different diets: gluten free with meat, gluten free pescatarian, and vegan. There is a separate designated gluten-free toaster, panini press and microwave in a roped off section of the cafeteria with gluten-free bagels, bread and muffins. The chefs know you on a first name basis and you have each others contact information if you need to get in touch. Outside of the special gluten-free section, the mainstream food is usually good. There is a hummus and carrot bar, a well stocked salad bar and a number of gluten free Chex cereals available. Chefs know what it means to be gluten-free so there is little cross contamination if you let them know. Overall, the school provides healthy delicious meals that make being gluten-free in college very easy.
