I had heard that the Fiddlers Hearth had gluten free options. Somehow we never seemed to think of them when planning a meal out. Last weekend my husband and I were searching for entertainment. We couldn't find anything that interested us. We gave up our search and instead decided on food. At 11:pm on a Thursday most places were closed and what was not was scant pickings for a Celiac. I remembered The Fiddlers Hearth and we had a fabulous time! This Irish style pub is cozy and usually has performers playing music. We enjoyed the band and the waitress was very well informed about what I could eat. She was helpful with dishes I have never had before and gave good suggestions. We shared the Vegetable Pakora which was spicy and I had smoked salmon for dinner. The waitress suggested Chocolate Oblivion for dessert which was a flour-less chocolate cake that tasted like a chocolate truffle. We made out with drinks, appetizer, dinner, and dessert for around $40, plus the free entertainment. The only down side for some may be that it is set up as a small town pub. This means shared seating. You will find your self sitting at a table with people you don't know. We didn't mind though. The online menu does not show gluten free options but the one in the pub does. Just look for the GF marking next to the dish descriptions.
