However, Atlanta’s Taqueria del Sol offers a wide array of gluten-free menu items, making this a great destination for those traveling to Atlanta. Taqueria del Sol’s menu consists of a combination of traditional Mexican with an innovative twist. All of their appetizers and side dishes are gluten-free, as well as all of their enchiladas and a variety of their tacos. With appetizer options such as guacamole and cheese dip with corn tortilla chips and sides of charros beans and Mexican rice, those eating gluten-free don’t miss out on anything.
The tacos are all available in corn tortillas, and while a few of the tacos contain breaded fish or chicken, most are gluten-free and absolutely delicious! My favorite taco was the Memphis- a corn tortilla filled with chopped smoked pork, a spicy jalapeno coleslaw and tequila BBQ sauce. The veggie and the brisket were also favorites at the table, both of which are gluten-free! If you are craving something a bit heartier, the enchiladas are a great gluten-free option. The corn tortillas with fillings like roasted chicken or brisket, topped with tomatillo salsa or salsa frita create a perfect Mexican dish that is sure to satisfy.
Taqueria has a fun and modern ambiance and is the perfect place to bring the family or dine out with friends. In addition to great food, the bar has a variety of gluten-free drinks as well! Taqueria del Sol is a breath of fresh air for those on a gluten-free diet, offering a gluten-free option for nearly all of their menu items. They really take the guesswork out of gluten-free dining. I was very impressed and will definitely be back!
