Was dining with colleagues so I called ahead to see if they could accomodate my gluten and dairy free needs. They said nearly all of their entrees are gluten free and they can cook with olive oil instead of butter for me. The waiter was very knowledgeable, said the chef has several friends with Celiac. I enjoyed my first breaded and fried calamari since diagnosis!! It was breaded entirely with corn meal and fried in oil that does not fry gluten-containing foods. It tasted great even without the harissa dipping sauce (dairy) because it was cooked with garlic and parsely. My duck breast special was amazing as were all the fish and steak entrees at the table. Great cocktails (cucumber collins) and wine list. Dessert menu definitely had gluten items, so I enjoyed unique homemade sorbets. Only downside was the huge breadbasket that arrived at the table with crusty rolls covered in flour -- I was worried the flour dust could land in my water! But my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed the bread..sigh. One of the best meals I've had in an amazing ambiance (converted house), near Buckhead.
