Even better reason to love Disney,

While eating at Disney last week, I found out the almost endless options a gluten free person has at any of the parks. When ordering at Disney, you simply tell your waiter and they send for a chef. The chef appears and takes your whole family's order, yes the non-GF ones, and personally prepares the gluten free and non-GF meals. Once finished, the order is brought to you. They ensure there is no cross-contamination and you have a good and "safe" meal to eat. I was completly impressed. I was able to enjoy gluten free chicken fingers, a turkey sandwich with gluten free bread and gluten free mini cupcakes and a gluten free donut! I was in heaven and my level of stress about eating out was entirely absent! It was truly a nice eating experience!

Gluten free dining at Disney World restaurants and parks,

When planning ahead, making reservations ( highly recommend) at Disney World parks, people were kind and friendly. They gave me a relief that there will be gluten free menu for my 7 year old. When we arrived, at every park we have not failed seeing a chef! Chefs were so wonderful and accommodating to my daughter's needs. In fact chefs made her feel extra special when it comes to dessert and giving her extra food. At one park, chef had to run out to another restaurant to get gluten free pasta. They made sure that my daughter gets what she wants. At one point of the trip, we went to Universal Studios, my daughter asked me why didn't the chef come out to speak with her. She felt safe when chef speaks with her and personally served her to avoid cross contamination. I'm so impressed with Disney World. I think all chefs in every restaurant should meet to make sure there's no cross contamination and they provide reassurance.
When we were at Animal Kingdom, they were starting a new kiosk for allergy/special diets. I'm curious how they are doing now. Anyways, I give Disney 10/10. Thank you Disney for making her trip effortlessly and memorable !!!

Dining Gluten Free Throughout the Disney World theme parks,

We just returned from a trip to Disney World and had just one bad experience which was in at Pizzafari in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. I was told they had Amy's Gluten Free Pizza, and the manager came out and handled my order. Three hours to the button I was vomiting until all was out of my system. (I did report this to Disney.) Reason for 4.5 Review also. I will almost guarantee they used the same oven to bake it in as the other pizza's and the same utensils to remove it from the oven. It was not fun being on a bus and getting sick. Animal Kingdom only has the one restaurant that I would feel safe in and that is Rainforest Cafe. We ate at the other Rainforest Cafe location in Downtown Disney and the chef was great preparing my food and discussing with me. Overall, I was amazed how many of Disney's restaurants accommodated wheat free and gluten free foods. In all cases the chef came to the table and discussed what I could eat and said he/she was preparing it himself and in a separate area, and they all gave me specific orders not to take food from others only the assigned person they gave me. Being there an entire week and constantly eating out had no other problems with the one exception. Raglan Road (Irish Pub) in the Downtown Disney area had the most wonderful breaded fish with fries!!! Have not had fried white fish in years. The chef was top notch and I never had a problem. Ate there two times.

Terrific help from every Chef in all the Disney operated restaurants at Wilderness Lodge, French Quarters, and Floridian resorts. Just "ask for the chef"; and he will come out to your table to discuss your Gluten-free requirements. At the buffet-style restaurant at the Floridian he took me right to the buffet line and pointed out each item that was G-F. Thanks to all at WDW.
