After finding almost a 2-hour wait at the restaurant we had intended to dine at tonight (a steak restaurant called Flat Iron -- they don't take reservations) and then learning that another restaurant we thought was gluten-free friendly really wasn't, we decided to go to Gourmet Burger Kitchen again. We'd dined there for lunch earlier in the week. Although we hadn't intended to have burgers again, we didn't have much choice, as it was getting late, we were hungry, and most London restaurants were packed. And they do have good burgers at GBK! So in we went...
Your get seated but then order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table when it's ready. This time we opted for buffalo burgers, and they do have gluten free buns. We decided to forgo the fries, and I forgot to ask if they were gluten free anyway (some GBK locations have a dedicated fryer; some don't). Instead, we ordered the blue cheese slaw and milkshakes. Everything was great. This place is clearly popular, as it's always busy, and there are a lot of great toppings to choose for your burger. They have many locations in and around London. While it's not cheap, it's inexpensive relative to other places in London, and it's certainly a couple steps up from fast food like McDonald's!
