The United Congregational Church of Westerly in Pawcatuck offers communion on the first Sunday of every month in addition to special days during the church year. All of our bread is gluten-free so people with gluten allergies do not have to worry, and we use grape juice instead of wine to be as inclusive as we can. As an aside, we are a couple weeks away at this point from officially becoming an ONA church. We also try to have gluten-free options during fellowship each Sunday and for our Harvest Table Dinner each month. We also offer gf options for our Christmas and Valentine Teas. Because we also have gluten based foods for our fellowship and teas, we cannot guarantee that cross contamination won't occur. There is not a cross contamination issue with communion, however, as no other bread is offered.
