I'm a regular traveler to Ouray since I'm an avid ice climber.
When booking this last trip, I contacted Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast and
asked about the meal options. Many bed and breakfasts in the
area have a "planned" menu and while I'm sure they're
tasty, they don't really accommodate my dairy/soy/gluten-
I spoke personally to Sara Sharpe, the innkeeper, and she
said she'd have no problem accommodating my requests. I
was simply delighted! For my entire 3 day stay, I had the
most gourmet breakfast I've ever had set in front of me. And
it wasn't just an "Atkins" high-protein hail mary, either. I
watched her cook every morsel and there was nothing pre-
packaged or canned. Fresh, fresh, fresh!
I'll definitely be a repeat guest at the Secret Garden for the
entirety of the ice climbing season - can only hope year-
round visitors understand how truly posh a gluten-free
destination Sara's B & B is!
