As an owner of this bakery, I feel that I can only say that we do our best to avoid cross-contamination of products because we do work with glutenous flours aside from gluten-free products. "Everything matters" is our motto, and we put a lot of love and care into everything we do so that our customers feel that they experience something special every time they come in.
Our offerings in the realm of gluten-free items are all very flavourful as well as pleasantly textured. We are a vegetarian bakery/cafe, and we make EVERYTHING from scratch (except things like organic brown rice noodles).
Service is VERY friendly - keep in mind "Bubby" is a Jewish word for grandmother, and your time spent with us should be like visiting your grandmother's home!
We are often challenging ourselves to develop new delicious items for folks with celiac disease. This is what we have come up with so far:
Lasagna - a very tasty, huge piece made with organic brown rice noodles, spinach, ricotta, almonds, walnuts, mushrooms and other fine ingredients.
Flour-less Dark Chocolate Torte - a huge success since 2003.
Banana Rice Bread using organic brown rice flour.
Frittata - an every day kind of egg based meal.
Fruit Chew - a best seller made with "pure oats", dried fruit, almonds and banana - no sugar or fats added.
Polar Balls - a pop-in-the-mouth delight.
Bubbymore -like an Eatmore bar but better!
