Being newly diagnosed with Celiac, I was a little nervous to venture out to restaurants to have a meal. I don't like being that person to cause a fuss and demand special treatment. When my husband and I arrived at Redwater and told our server I was celiac, she was very knowledgeable and ready to help in any way she could. She told me that I could order pretty much anything on the menu because all of their sauces are gluten free and they have gluten free pastas and pizzas. Their dinner service starts off with bread which they brought me my own butter and plate of gluten free flat bread. This was the first time I had bread and butter since being diagnosed so I was in heaven. For dinner I ordered the spaghetti with bison meatballs which was so delicious I ordered some to take home. There is such a variety that it is now one of the few places I trust when heading out with friends or just having a romantic dinner with my husband. There are 4 locations in Calgary.
