GLUTEN FREE PRODUCT RECOGNITION SEAL

Since 2004, The Celiac Sprue Association has offered a Recognition Seal for food manufactures who wish to have their products tested for the presence of gluten. The evaluation consists of a critical review of the company's manufacturing practices and procedures and product testing with the strictest testing method in the industry (ELISA test). Beyond Celiac has recently partnered with the Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) to offer the Gluten-Free Certification Program (GFCP), the first joint program endorsed in both the U.S. and Canada. The Gluten-Free Certification Program helps product manufacturers ensure their products are gluten free and provides guidance and protection to gluten free consumers by requiring annual certification audits by independent agencies for products that bear their certified gluten free trademark.
