Simpsons Fish and Chips is a traditional British fish and chip shop that focuses on using simple, natural ingredients for their dishes. They do not usually serve a gluten free fish and chip option but on the last Monday of every month (except December) they have a wheat and gluten free fish and chip frying day. They have completed risk assessments to be sure that customers with Celiac Disease or other gluten sensitivities can eat safely on this day and time. On the particular day of the gluten free frying, they restrict their menu to only gluten free foods so that they avoid contamination of the gluten free fish and chip preparation areas.
