Local place for GF pizza, which is pretty much the extent of their GF menu items. Eaten there half a dozen times or so. Everyone liked the food - no complaints. Last visit, though, I watched the chef drop the salad tongs on the floor, pick them up, wipe them on his pants, and continue dishing out the salad. Made me wonder. That was our last visit to The Don's. Hesitate drawing any general conclusions about kitchen cleanliness and employee hygiene, but felt the observation met the threshhold to be shared. To go or not to go? Your decision.

Still Riding gluten-free pizza available at restaurant in Sterling, Virginia,

I'd heard that The Don's Wood-Fired Pizza offered gluten-free pizza, so I called to verify. I needed to get a gluten-free pizza for our son who was attending a birthday party nearby, where they'd be serving the usual pizza at the end of the party. When I called Don's, I asked to speak to the manager. His name is Antonio. I inquired about the gluten-free pizza, and he said they offered Still Riding GF crusts and told me it was prepared and cooked in the separate pan that comes with it. I also inquired about using separate tomato sauce and cheese that had not come into contact with the ladles or gloves that had touched regular gluten pizza. I didn't get the impression that they typically did this, so I asked if he COULD do it in our case, because it was essential in preventing my son from getting sick. He was happy to oblige. So I told him I'd call later that evening to order. I did, and he followed all my specific instructions. The pizza was a bit odd -- they put the cheese on first and then the tomato sauce on top. But after initially turning up his nose at it, my son ate it without complaint. I had some just to taste it...in my opinion, it wasn't the best GF pizza I've ever had...the crust was a bit doughy...not really crisp, but perhaps that's how Still Riding pizza crust is. I can recommend this place for GF pizza if you're very explicit about asking for "fresh" or "new" sauce, cheese, toppings -- to avoid the cross contamination risk. There aren't many places still open in the area that offer gluten-free pizza. A nearby Uno's closed a while back, as have some Z Pizza locations in northern Virginia.
